Game Preview: Eagles To Play At NC State on Sunday

Boston College will host travel to Raleigh to play at NC State on Sunday at 2 p.m. Fans can view the game on ACC Network.

The Eagles lost to Wake Forest, 67-59, on Thursday night despite 19 points and five rebounds from sophomore Taylor Ortlepp. The sophomore was 5-for-7 from the three-point arc. It was the third time in her career in which she hit five three's.

NC State is currently 18-5 overall and 7-3 in the ACC. The Wolfpack, who are currently receiving votes in the AP and USA Today Polls, are on a six-game win streak. Four players are averaging double-figures for the Wolfpack – Chelsea Nelson (12.8 ppg.); Kiara Leslie (12.2 ppg.), Akela Maize (10.3 ppg.) and Aislinn Konig (10.1 ppg.).

NC State defeated No.10/11 Florida State at home, 65-56, on Thursday night. The last loss for the Wolfpack was at Duke on Jan. 7

- Senior Martina Mosetti, who has a team-high 110 career games, is just eight assists from 300 in her four seasons. Mosetti is currently at 292 which is 12^th overall in program history.
-Sophomore Taylor Ortlepp has 19 points in the loss against Wake Forest on Thursday. Ortlepp is five points from reaching the 400-point plateau. She needs just three rebound for 100 career boards. Not bad for a second-year player who missed eight games in the 2017-18 season.
- Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris rebounded Thursday with an 18-point effort vs. Wake Forest. The Eagles rookie guard has notched double-figures in 15 games for BC this season and has led the team in scoring in eight games.
- Sophomore forward Georgia Pineau is averaging a team-high 7.5 rebounds a game. She has led the team in rebounding in 10 games and has notched double-figures on the boards in four games.
- Graduate senior Andie Anastos lead the Eagles in assists with 66 and is third in minutes played at 33.2.

- BC has been led offensively by the trio of sophomores – Emma Guy, Taylor Ortlepp & Georgia Pineau. Guy is averaging 10.7 points and 5.7 rebounds while Ortelpp is averaging 10.7 points and shooting 40 percent from the three-point arc in the three-game run.
