Women's Basketball Announces Attendees for 2026 ACC Tipoff

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Junior forward Grace Oliver and sophomore guard Jocelyne Grier will represent Boston College women's basketball at the 2026 ACC Tipoff next week, Oct. 5-7, at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The media session for the Eagles will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m
Head coach Kate Popovec-Goss will participate in her first ACC Tipoff, as she was announced on March 27 as the school's ninth head coach in program history.
Oliver is in her first season and is one of nine newcomers for BC, while Grier is one of three returners and the leading returning scorer, finishing second on the team coming off the bench, averaging 9.7 points per game, and leading the team with 44 3-pointers.
Grier led all freshmen in the ACC and was second among all players in scoring off the bench, while she was one of two players in the league and one of 11 in the nation to score at least 300 points with 40 3-pointers off the bench.
Oliver spent one season at Wake Forest in 2025-26, where she led Wake Forest in scoring at 14.3 points per game, and shot an impressive 60.4 percent from the field, along with 73.7 percent from the free-throw line and 38.8 percent from beyond the arc. She led the ACC and ranked among the top 10 nationally in field goal percentage, scoring in double figures in 22 games, including six 20-point performances.
She was one of three players in the nation to average at least 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 60 percent from the field, 70 percent from the line, and 35 percent from three-point range.
