- The Eagles/Bears series began on March 18, 1992.
- BC is hoping to extend a five-game win streak over the Bears, as Brown holds the advantage in the overall meetings, 11-7.
- It's been five seasons since the squads last met in 2013. The Eagles pulled through with a 15-12 victory on the road.
- No current Eagles players have taken the field against Brown. Head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein was at the helm for the Eagles win in 2013, but that was the only time she's met up with the Ivy League foe.

- Last season's scoring leader junior Sam Apuzzo is off to a better start this season. Last year, in the first four game, Apuzzo had scored 12 goals – six of which came in the 2017 home opener against BU after first loss of the season at Syracuse. So far this season the attacker has scored 16.
- The triumph over UMass last time out was BC's second win over a top-20 ranked team. Last season, it took the Eagles 11 games notch two victories over top-20 teams. Â Â
