BACKING THE BLUE (AND THE SENIORS)
• The Eagles will host their first ever Back the Blue Day. All police officers and departments are invited as honored guests.
• BC will also honor Ronny Cortez – father of senior Tatiana Cortez and a 24-year veteran of the Houston Police Department.
• There will also be a pregame ceremony for BC's four seniors: Cortez, Jordan Weed, Taylor Coroneos and Madison Paulson.

SOARING THROUGH THE SEASON
• The Eagles' 11-6 ACC record puts them third in the conference. They won five of their first six ACC series.
• BC is 9-2 at home.
• The Eagles swept Syracuse with two eighth-inning walk-off plays on April 2.
• The team also swept Georgia Tech last weekend.
• BC has been successful against tough competition, defeating No. 21 Arizona State, 3-2, on Feb. 20.

CORTEZ CRUSHES IT
• Senior Tatiana Cortez leads BC with nine home runs, 38 RBI, a .404 on-base percentage and a .581 slugging percentage. She has also batted .306.
• Cortez holds the program records for career home runs (43) and RBI (160) and has tied the program record for RBI in a single game (seven).
• The third baseman/catcher set the program record for career RBI (previously 142) and tied the team records for career home runs (41) and RBI in a single game in the doubleheader March 8 against Penn and USF.
• Cortez recorded seven RBI against Penn with a grand slam and a three-run home run. Only two other Eagles have recorded a seven-RBI game: Jenna Macchi (March 31 and April 10, 2007) and Tory Speer (May 5, 2011).
• The three-run home run against Penn gave Cortez 142 RBI, tying Speer's career record. Cortez then broke her record with a two-run home run against USF, giving her 144 RBI.
• Cortez's home run against the Bulls gave her 41 in her career, tying Speer for the program record.
• The Houston native broke BC's all-time career home run record with a solo shot March 25 against Pittsburgh, giving her 42 total home runs.
• Cortez's .768 slugging percentage last year broke the record for BC's single-season mark, previously held by Cara Blumfield with .766 in 2002.

• NC State is sixth in the ACC with a 9-9 league record.
• The Eagles have won five of their last six games against the Wolfpack and are 10-21 all-time against NC State.

• Junior Jessica Dreswick ranks in the top four in the ACC in seven categories: first in batters struck out looking (62), first in games started (31), first in innings pitched (194.2), second in strikeouts (151), fourth in opposing batting average (.216), fourth in ERA (2.05) and fourth in wins (20).
• Dreswick broke BC's record for wins in a season when she earned her 20th victory Sunday against Georgia Tech. She surpassed junior Allyson Frei (2015) and Allison Gage (2008), who both won 19 games in those respective seasons.
• Dreswick's sits 18th nationally in victories and 39th in the nation in strikeouts.
• Dreswick did not allow a single earned run in starts against two ranked teams: No. 13/14 James Madison and No. 21/22 Arizona State.
• Senior Jordan Weed sits in second in the ACC fewest hits allowed (47), fourth in opposing batting average (.214) and seventh in ERA (2.58).

• Boston College ranks third in the ACC with 69 stolen bases.
• Sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele sits in third in the league with 28 stolen bases, putting her 31st nationally with 0.62 stolen bags per game.
• DiEmmanuele has 52 career stolen bases – second all-time in program history. She surpassed Rene Delagrammaticas '12 for second with her 35th stolen base March 3 against South Alabama. Megan Cooley '16 holds first place with 86.
• DiEmmanuele ranks second and third for most stolen bases in a single season in team history. She has stolen 28 this year and stole 24 last season. Cooley has the record with 31 in 2013.
• Senior Taylor Coroneos and junior Annie Murphy have each stolen 11 bases.

• Junior Jordan Chimento leads the Eagles with a .429 on-base percentage, hitting .302 with four home runs.
• Senior Taylor Coroneos has hit a team-leading .331.
• Four other Eagles have hit .300 or better: junior Chloe Sharabba (.309), junior Jordan Chimento (.306), senior Tatiana Cortez (.306) and junior Annie Murphy (.305)
• Murphy has reached base in 11 straight games, posting a .421 OBP in that span.
• Sharabba has hit .463 with two home runs and five RBI against ACC teams.
