The Eagles took a 1-0 lead before even recording an out. Coroneos led off the bottom of the first with a double. Then Murphy lined it toward the center fielder, and the ball ricocheted off her glove for an error, allowing Coroneos to score.

- Senior Taylor Coroneos hit 3-for-4 with a triple and a double – only a home run away from the cycle – and scored two runs. Coroneos leads BC with a .342 batting average and 18 multi-hit games. She has four three-hit games.
- Junior Jessica Dreswick pitched her 17th complete game, allowing no earned runs and only four hits. Dreswick has gone 4-0 with a 0.81 ERA in BC's last four games.
- Junior Chloe Sharabba went 3-for-4 with two RBI, a run and a double. She posted her 12th multi-hit game and third three-hit performance.
- Junior Annie Murphy recorded a double, two RBI and a run, extending her reached-base streak to 12 games. She has a .405 on-base percentage in that span.
- Sophomore Lexi DiEmmanuele went 2-for-3 with two bunt hits and one RBI. She's had two straight multi-hit games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles took a 3-0 lead in the first. Junior Jordan Chimento bunted, scoring Murphy on a fielder's choice. Then DiEmmanuele singled on a bunt to score Sharabba, who reached on a single down the right-field line.
- BC generated a 4-0 advantage in the second. Thomas reached on a throwing error, advancing to second on the play. Coroneos laid down a bunt single to push Thomas to third. Murphy hit a sacrifice fly to center to plate Thomas.
- Coroneos tripled off the wall in the fourth. Murphy belted a double to left to score Coroneos and increase BC's lead to 5-0.
- NC State's Macauley Prickett doubled to lead off the fifth. Tyler Ross singled and advanced on a throwing error that scored Prickett and shrunk BC's lead to 5-1.
- Thomas led off the sixth with a walk. Sharabba doubled to left to score Thomas and solidify BC's lead at 6-1.
