 Boston College (3-3) will hit the road for the second consecutive road game. This week the Eagles will travel to New York to play at Columbia on what is being billed as its Education Day at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Fans can view the game on the Ivy League Network or SNY.

The Eagles are coming off a 61-57 loss at Boston University on Sunday. BC was led by freshman Sydney Lowery with 18 points, while sophomore Emma Guy chipped in with 10 points.

Columbia is currently 2-5 on the season. The Lions just returned from the Cancun Challenge. Columbia lost to Green Bay (61-43), Mississippi State (90-54) and Arizona State (72-48) in the three-game tournament.

Camille Zimmerman, a senior guard/forward, leads the Lions in scoring with a 21.4 points per game average. She is also pulling down 8.6 boards a game. Freshman Riley Casey is second on the team with an 8.6 points per game average. Madison Pack, a freshman center, is averaging seven points and 5.4 rebounds a game.

- The most free throws made by a BC player was Sarah Behn '93Â who hit 17 against Georgetown on Jan. 13, 1993. She hit 17-of-17 on the night.
- Rookie Milan Bolden-Morris has scored in double-figures in the first five games. She is averaging 14.6 points per game and shooting 47.4 percent from the floor. She finished with nine points vs. BU, her first game in which she did not reach double-figures.
- Other BC rookies to score often and early include - Carolyn Swords '11 who scored in double-figures in the nine of her first 10 games. Stefanie Murphy '11 hit in double-figures in 10 of her first 12 games, while Kelly Hughes '17 did not score a point in her first game and then hit five straight games in double-figures. Nicole Boudreau '16 notched double-figures in seven of her first eight games.
- With six rebounds against Houston, Martina Mosetti reached the 200-career rebound plateau.
- Sophomore Georgia Pineau needs just six assists to reach 100 career helpers and nine rebounds for 200 boards. Pineau has missed two games (Houston & Minnesota).
- Freshman Sydney Lowery is shooting 84 percent from the foul line (21-of-25) this season to lead the Eagles. The team is shooting just 71.6 percent this season.
- Graduate senior Andie Anastos had four steals in the loss at BU on Sunday. She now leads BC with eight steals.

- Swords is shooting 59.5 in EuroCup play and averaging 12 points and 4.4 rebounds.
- The team is 4-5 and in 8th place in the BLK Standings. On Nov. 23, Swords had 17 points and 14 rebounds while shooting 7-for-11 from the floor. On Nov. 29, Swords had 2 points and six boards.
- Guard Kelly Hughes is currently playin for Eisvogel USC Freibrugh - in Germany. The team is currently 7-1 in the 2BL. It's her first season playing overseas. Hughes is averaging 17.8 points and 8.0 rebounds in eight games. On Nov,. 12 she finished with 20 points and six boards and had five three's. She had eight points and nine rebounds on No. 4. - Former guard Lauren Engeln is still playing in German. She is now playing for Bad Aibling. Engeln had seven points and four rebounds on Nov. 19. The team is 4-5 and she is averaging 6.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.8 assist in the nine games of the seaosn
- One of the oldest players out of BC is still on the court. Kathrin Ress, who graduated in 2006, still plays for Famila Schio in Italy.Â
- Former BC Eagles Kristen Doherty '14 has been named the varsity girls basketball coach at her alma mater - Sachem East - in New York.
