Game Preview: Eagles Are Minnesota Bound

Eagles-Gophers to tip off Sunday at 8 p.m. (ET)
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's basketball team will travel to Minnesota to play the Gophers on Sunday, Nov, 19 at 8 p.m. (ET). It will be a homecoming for senior Katie Quandt, who hails from Lakeville, Minnesota.
Boston College is currently 2-1 after beating Fordham on Thursday, 55-52, behind 16 points from freshman Milan Bolden-Morris. Minnesota is currently 3-0 after picking up a 103-78 win over VCU on Thursday. The Gophers have scored over 100 points in two of its first three games.

-Sophomore Georgia Pineau leads BC in rebounding (9.7 rpg.) and she is second in points per game at 10.3. She ranks 101st in the country in rebounding.
- Freshman Sydney Lowery is averaging 33 minutes and 9.3 points per game. The rookie hit her first career three in the win over Fordham. Lowery is also averaging four boards a game in the first three games.

- In the 1999-00 season, Boston College defeated Davidson, 86-54, to improve to 3-0 on the season. Brianne Stepherson scored 16 points to lead six players in double figures. Becky Gottstein had 14 points, Alissa Murphy and Cal Bouchard 11 and Jamie Cournoyer and Nicole Conway 10 apiece. BC finished the season with a 22-9 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
