Rookie Milan Bolden-Morris hits for 16 points in the win over Fordham
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris hit four three-pointers on her way to a team-high 16 points as Boston College defeated Fordham, 55-52, at Conte Forum on Field Trip Day as over, 2563 fans cheered on the Eagles in a non-conference game.

Boston College improved to 2-1, while Fordham is now 1-1.

Bolden-Morris hit her fourth three-pointer with 3:23 to play which extended the Eagles lead to 12 points. BC held on the final three minutes behind three foul shots by Martina Mosetti, who finished with 11 points and five rebounds.

Fordham's G'mrice Davis had 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Bre Cavanaugh pitched in with 12 points and five rebounds.

- Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris finished with 16 points, on 6-for-7 shooting from the floor and 4-for-5 from beyond the arc. Bolden-Morris scored seven of the Eagles 21 points in the final quarter.
- Senior Martina Mosetti finished with 11 points, five boards and one steal in 22 mintues of play.
- Freshman Sydney Lowery pitched in with 10 points, five boards and a steal.
- Boston College shot 48.9 percent from the floor, 60 percent in the second quarter and 50 percent in the fourth quarter.
- Graduate senior Andie Anastos had four of the Eagles 12 first quarter points. BC held a 12-11 lead after on as the shot 5-for-10 from the floor.
- Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris hit two three-pointers in the second quarter as the Eagles held a 26-23 halftime lead. BC shot 55 percent from the floor, while Fordham shot just 29.4 percent.
- Bolen-Morris opened the fourth quarter with a lean in jumper to extend the lead, 40-31.
- Â picked up and held Bryant to 25 percent shooting from the floor.
- The Eagles went up 11 on a three-pointer from Taylor Ortlepp off a beautiful look from Bolden-Morris with 5:07 to play. Â Bolden-Morris hit her fourth three to extend the Eagles lead, 52-41, with under three to play.
- Sophomore Georgie Pineau fouled out but finished the game with a team-high 10 rebounds and five assists.
- Sophomore Taylor Ortlepp finished with eight points and hit a huge three-pointer in the fourth quarter which pushed the lead to 11 points.
- Graduate senior Andie Anastos finished with six points and four assists in 34 minutes of playing time.Â
- Boston College will travel to Minnesota to play the Golden Gophers on Sunday at 8 p.m. (ET). The game will be on the Big Ten Network.
