GAME PREVIEW: Fordham Up Next For Eagles

The young Eagles host Fordham at 11 a.m. Thursday.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's basketball team will host Fordham on Thursday in the "Field Trip Day" game at 11 a.m. at Conte Forum. The Eagles are currently 1-1 while Fordham is 1-0.
Boston College opened up the season with a win over Bryant last Friday. The Eagles fell on the road at Dartmouth in the second game of the season. Fordham will be a test for the young Eagles. The Rams come to The Heights with a 55-46 home victory over UMBC last Friday. Â

-Former women's hockey player Andie Anastos has made a seamless transition to basketball here at The Heights. The Eagles guard scored her first career point in the third quarter against Dartmouth. She also hit her first career three-point in the fourth quarter of the game and finished with seven points and five rebounds. She is averaging 29 minutes per game.
-Freshman Milan Bolden-Morris sparked a comeback against Dartmouth on Sunday. The rookie hit four three-pointers, three in the fourth quarter and finished with a team-high 16 points.
-Sophomore Georgia Pineau notched her first double-double with 14 points and 11 boards at Dartmouth on Sunday. Pineau is averaging 9.5 boards a game in the first two games. The 11 rebounds matched her career-high, which she recorded against UNC last season.
- Senior guard Martina Mosetti is shooting 60 percent from the floor in two games. She had 13 in the first game against Bryant. She had just four points vs. Dartmouth but grabbed a career-high seven rebounds and had three assists.
