- Sophomore Simon Enstrom led the Eagles with three shots on goal.
TURNING POINT
Harvard's Taner Dogan scored in the fourth minute off of a throw-in to give the Crimson a lead it would keep the rest of the way.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Justin Crichlow set up for a throw-in on the left side and sent a strong throw into the box. Dogan held off his defender and took a close range shot that sophomore Cedric Saladin saved, but the rebound went right back to him and he did not miss the second time to give Harvard the early 1-0 lead.
- Boston College nearly got the equalizer six minutes later when senior Zeiko Lewis sent a through ball to a streaking Enstrom. His shot was saved as the keeper came off his line.
- Harvard made it a two-goal game in the 21st minute after Cesar Farias tried to send a cross into the box. It hit a BC defender and fell right to Tyler Savitsky, who took a couple of dribbles and hammered home the insurance goal.
- Sophomore Trevor Davock nearly cut into the deficit with 13 minutes left in the half after Enstrom fed him a great ball, but he came in at a tough angle and the keeper made another quality save.
- The Eagles held a 10-1 advantage in shots in the second half but couldn't find a goal. Enstrom had a couple of more shots on goal in the half but was denied both times by the Harvard keeper.
