Bio
One of the Eagles’ most versatile players, saw time at all three forward positions in her career … missed the final three games of the 2017-18 season after a significant knee injury during the Hockey East Quarterfinals that required season-ending surgery … returned to play for the second half of the 2018-19 season ... one of the team’s representatives to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council.
AS A SENIOR (2018-19)
Returned to play in the second half of the season from season-ending surgery at the end of last year … skated in 19 games, primarily centering the fourth line … had a face-off winning percentage of .500.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-18)
Played in all 35 games for which she was available … missed the team’s final three games of the season after suffering a significant knee injury in the first period against Vermont in Game 1 of the teams’ Hockey East Quarterfinal series, an injury which required season-ending surgery … notched five points – two goals and three assists … four of those points came in her last four appearances after she moved up to the right wing on the second line next to Caitrin Lonergan and Daryl Watts … played the majority of the season on the fourth line, mostly at center or left wing … was able to spot fill in on the third line when called upon … netted her first career goal while playing center on the third line at Syracuse (Nov. 4), a goal which kick-started the Eagles’ comeback and eventual 4-3 victory … moved up to the second line for the first time against Boston University (Feb. 13) in the Beanpot Championship game, recording her first-career multiple-point game with a goal and an assist in the victory – including the set-up of Watts’ game-tying goal late in the third period … picked up assists in each of the two games at No. 10 Maine to close the regular season (Feb. 16 and 17) ... earned the Athletic Director's award for Academic Achievement ... earned a spot ont he Hockey East All-Academic Team ... named to ACC Honor Roll.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
Dressed for 32 games and saw time primarily on the team’s fourth line, both as a left wing and as a center … recorded one assist on the season, which came at Providence (Dec. 3) … had four shots, including two at Dartmouth (Dec. 7) ... earned the Athletic Director's award for Academic Achievement.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)
Dressed for 14 games, missing 11 games between mid-October and mid-November with an illness … slotted in exclusively on the Eagles’ fourth line … recorded one assist, coming on Haley McLean’s goal against Providence (Nov. 25) … picked up one penalty – a hooking minor – at No. 4 Northeastern (Nov. 28) … earned the Athletic Director’s Award for Academic Achievement.
BEFORE BC
Played varsity hockey at Noble and Greenough for five years under head coach Tom Resor and assistant coach – and former BC head men’s hockey coach – Steve Cedorchuk … captained the Nobles squad as a senior … won a pair of New England Preparatory School Athletic Council titles with the Bulldogs (2012, 2013) … also a four-year member of the Nobles field hockey team, captaining the squad as a senior … a two-time all-ISL field hockey team (2013, 2014) … played club hockey with national power Assabet Valley under head coach Dennis Laing … helped Assabet win the 2012 USA Hockey Tier 1 U14 national championship, plus a runner-up finish at the 2013 Tier I U16 tournament … the club also won the 2012 and 2014 Massachusetts state titles … was a four-year participant in USA Hockey’s National Development Camp (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014).
PERSONAL
Molly is the daughter of Dan and Sue Slowe … has an older sister Ally, who is a member of the field hockey team at Trinity College (Conn.), and a younger sister, Kate, who is on the field hockey team at Bentley University … enrolled in the Carroll School of Management as a marketing major … her father Dan is a 1989 graduate of Boston College … enjoys drawing, art and photography in her spare time.
