Taylor Wasylk '14 Joins Women’s Hockey Staff

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Jane Rattigan Head Women's Hockey Coach Katie Crowley announced the addition of Taylor Wasylk '14 to the Boston College coaching staff on Friday, welcoming the former Eagle back to the Heights.
Wasylk returns to Boston College after three seasons as the head coach at Lindenwood. In 2025-26, she guided the Lions to a program-record 14 wins and a program-best 11 conference victories. Lindenwood also earned its first playoff victory in nearly a decade and its first-ever home playoff win.
Before taking over at Lindenwood, Wasylk spent five seasons as the head coach at Suffolk University in Boston, where she compiled a 64-44-7 record. She led the Rams to their first Commonwealth Coast Conference championship and NCAA Tournament appearance during the 2022-23 season.
Wasylk took over the Suffolk program in 2017, one year before its inaugural season, and built the program from the ground up. In its first season, the Rams posted a 15-9-2 record and advanced to the NEHC quarterfinals.
Wasylk began her coaching career as an assistant coach at UMass Boston in 2014-15 before spending one season at SUNY Canton. During her time with the Roos, she helped the program reach the postseason for the first time in its inaugural season in the Colonial Hockey Conference.
A four-year letterwinner at Boston College from 2010-14, Wasylk helped the Eagles reach three consecutive NCAA Frozen Fours from 2011-13. She was part of two Beanpot championship teams, two Hockey East championship teams and the 2014 Nutmeg Classic championship squad.
In 2014, Wasylk earned Hockey East Best Defensive Forward honors and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Beanpot Tournament.
A native of Port Huron, Michigan, Wasylk also represented the United States at the Under-18, Under-22 and senior levels, competing at multiple World Championships. She graduated from Boston College in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in history and a minor in international studies.
