Thomas and Murphy Earn Invitations to USA Hockey Women's National Festival

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Ava Thomas and Madelyn Murphy have been invited to participate in the 2026 USA Hockey Women's National Festival, USA Hockey announced Monday.
Thomas and Murphy will take part in the festival, which is scheduled for Aug. 2-9 in Lake Placid, N.Y.
At the conclusion of the festival, a 25-player roster will be selected for the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team. The team will then face Canada in a three-game series from Aug. 12-15 at the Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, British Columbia.
