One of the most unheralded players in college hockey despite earning a spot on the 2018 U.S. Olympic Team and winning a gold medal at the PyeongChang Games … one of the fastest skaters playing NCAA hockey and at the international level … a two-way defenseman who can spark the rush out of the back or stay back in the defensive zone … tied for the most games played in program history (157) … closed her career ranked in the top 10 on the Eagles’ career defender scoring lists: seventh in points (72), seventh in goals (19), eighth in assists (53).
AS A SENIOR (2018-19)
One of the Eagles’ captains … Hockey East Third Team All-Star … Hockey East All-Tournament Team ... appeared in 38 of the Eagles’ 39 contests, missing one game while at the Four Nations Cup with the U.S. National Team … recorded 20 points off of five goals and 15 assists … had six multi-point outings on the year … earned six points off of two goals and four assists on the power play … whistled for just two penalties all season …only defender in the nation to record at least 20 points and fewer than three penalties … finished second on the team with 64 blocked shots … had at least three blocks in nine contests, blocking a season-high five in the Hockey East Tournament championship game against Northeastern (March 10) … recorded 69 shots on goal … fired a season-high of six shots on frame against BU (Nov. 30) … had a goal and an assist at Holy Cross (Oct. 26) … assisted on the game-winner at Maine (Oct. 28) … had two helpers at Northeastern (Nov. 27) … recorded a three-point game with one goal and two assists in a win over Northeastern (Jan. 12) … tied a career-high with three assists, including on the game-winner, against Holy Cross (Feb. 1) … had one goal and one assist in the regular-season finale at New Hampshire (Feb. 23) … scored the game-winning goal in the first quarterfinal round game against UConn (March 1) … picked up two assists, including on the game-winner, in the Hockey East Tournament semifinal win over BU (March 9) … scored the game-tying goal with four seconds left in the Hockey East Tournament championship game against Northeastern (March 10) … participated in the USA Hockey National Women's Team Festival in August ... invited to the USA Hockey National Women’s Team Evaluation Camp in September … member of the U.S. National Women’s Team that won the Four Nations Cup in November.
2018 OLYMPICS (2017-18)
Gold medalist at the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea … took a leave of absence from Boston College for the 2017-18 academic year to live in the Tampa, Florida, area and train with the U.S. National Team … played in all 12 games of the U.S.’ pre-Olympic game schedule … helped the U.S. win gold at the 2017 Four Nations Cup … whistled for a single penalty during the pre-Olympic schedule, a minor against Canada (Dec. 3) during the St. Paul, Minn., stop on The Time is Now Tour … officially named to the 23-member 2018 U.S. Olympic Team on Jan. 1, 2018 … played 77 shifts at the Olympics across five games, including extended time in overtime of the Gold Medal game against Canada (Feb. 22).
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17)
Hockey East All-Star Honorable Mention … played in all 39 games … posted 19 points from five goals and 14 assists and was the team’s second-highest scoring defenseman … blocked a team-high 66 shots … logged significant minutes the second half of the season after the defensive corps was ravaged by absence, leading to just four defensemen playing a stretch of games … part of the Eagles’ defense that was tied for third nationally in goals allowed per game (1.54) … active on both the nation’s leading power-play unit (25.5 percent) and the second-best penalty-kill unit (91.6 percent) in the nation … the BC defense allowed 23.67 shots per game and posted eight shutouts … whistled for just two penalties (for four minutes) on the season … started the year with assists in each of the first three games of the season … picked up a pair of assists against New Hampshire (Nov. 12) … tallied her first goal of the year at No. 10 Northeastern (Nov. 26) and then scored single goals in the next two games: at Providence (Dec. 3) and at Dartmouth (Dec. 7) … put a cap on her four-game point streak with an assist against Syracuse (Jan. 4) when the team returned from the winter break … had another three-game point streak from Jan. 14 at Merrimack through Jan. 21 at Vermont in which she collected four points (1 goal, 3 assists) … scored the game-tying goal against Northeastern (March 5) in the championship game of the Hockey East Tournament, setting the Eagles up for the title in overtime … the goal was her 50th career point and she became the ninth defenseman in program history to reach 50 career points … collected two assists against No. 6 St. Lawrence (March 11) in the NCAA Quarterfinals … attended the 2016 USA Hockey Women’s National Team Festival … selected to the U-22 Select Team for its August series against Canada and played in all three games … called into the U.S. National Team’s 2016 Winter Training Camp in Plymouth, Mich. … made her full U.S. National Team debut with a call-up to the 2017 IIHF World Championship Team … played in all five games at the World Championships in Plymouth, Mich., helping the U.S. post three shutouts en route to the gold medal.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2015-16)
Played in all 41 games, recording 24 points from six goals and 18 assists … posted a +38 rating on the season … passed her freshman-year scoring total (9 points in 39 games) just 10 games into the season, collecting her ninth, 10th and 11th points at Connecticut (Oct. 31) … had five multiple-point games, including three points in two games: Oct. 31 at UConn (one goal, two assists) and Dec. 5 at Maine (two goals, one assist) … her two goals in Orono represent her single-game high … was a season-high +4 at Boston University (Nov. 7) when she also scored a goal in the 8-1 win … defensively, helped the Eagles post a 1.24 goals against average, the third-best mark nationally … also part of the D corps that set a new program record with 14 shutouts, passing the old mark of 12 (2014-15) … the Eagles’ defense allowed just 21.22 shots per game, fifth-best nationally … blocked 36 shots, tied for most on the team with Megan Keller and Alex Carpenter … played extensively on the power-play and on the penalty kill … invited to the 2015 USA Hockey Women’s National Team Festival … was selected for the 2015 U.S. Under-22 Team for its annual August series against Canada … played in all three games for the U22s, recording one assist … called into the U.S. National Team’s Winter Training Camp in Blaine, Minn. … earned a place on the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15)
Played in all 39 games … scored three goals and six assists for nine points … recorded a point in seven games … defensively, helped the Eagles boast a 1.20 goals against average, the fourth-best mark in the county, as well as a .905 penalty-kill mark, also the fourth-best mark in Division I … blocked 18 shots … picked up assist in her collegiate debut, a 10-2 win over Syracuse (Oct. 4) … scored her first career goal as part of a three-point effort in a 6-1 win at Northeastern (Nov. 8), which included her only two-assist performance of her freshman year … added a goal in the Eagles’ 10-2 win over No. 7 Harvard (Nov. 28) … added a goal in the 6-0 win against Main (Feb. 13) … posted an assist in the 6-2 win over Providence on Feb. 27 … called in to USA Hockey’s Winter Training Camp.
