As a Freshman (2013-2014): Competed with the travel team both semesters...Swam the 1000 at most dual meets...Achieved season best times at the 2013 Terrier Invitational in the 400 individual medley, 500 freestyle, and
200 backstroke...Top 12 finish at the Terrier Invite in the 400 IM with a time of 4:37.89.
BEFORE BC: Megan attended Carondelet High School... lettered all four years for her high school team... swam 8 years for her club team, Orinda Aquatics... captain her junior and senior year for both her high school team and her club team... awarded the Coaches Award for Carondelet and Inspirational Award for her club team. Her high school team took NCS title in 2010 and 2013
PERSONAL: Megan is from Walnut Creek, CA... daughter of Joe and Julia Fuqua... she has one younger sister, Caroline (14) who will be attending Carondelet High School in the fall... she is a student of the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in biology.
