Was a member of the 200 Freestyle Arelay at the Terrier Invitational... Was a member of the ACC ConferenceChampionship team and swam the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 100 Breast... Earned2013-2014 Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
BEFORE BC: Attended Northwest Catholic High School and was a member of the varsity swim team all four years... Team captain senior year... High Honor Roll... National Honors Society. Scholar Athlete Award 2012-2013... 3 time YMCA national qualifier, 2 time Supersectional Qualifier... Coach's Award 2012... Two time individual high point at the Splash Championship.
PERSONAL: From Avon, CT. Parents- Tom and Letha Kunkel. BrotherRobby Kunkel who is a junior at University of Chicago. Sister- Laura who will be a freshman at Northwest Catholic High School. Swam with the Wheeler Regional YMCA and Charter Oak Aquatic Swim Club.
