As a freshman in 2001-02: Voted Most Valuable Performer by the 2001-2002 BC swim team...Set the Boston College record in the 200-yard breaststroke at the ECAC Championships with a 2:04.37...Earned Outstanding Performance award at Boston University (200 IM), University of Maine (200 breaststroke), at University of Rhode Island (200 medley relay) and against Marist College (200 Breaststroke) and Holy Cross College (200 IM)... Was Outstanding performer at Seton Hall University, University of Rhode Island, Georgetown University and against Rider University and also at the ECAC Championships...Scored 278.50 total points in the 2001-2002 season...compiled 24 first-place finishes in individual events and relays during the 2001-2002 season.
