Began swimming competitively at age 12...competed on State Teams, Age-Group Sectional Teams, and Sectional Teams through high school....lettered and swam on varsity team all four years of high school....captain of club swim team and high school swim team senior year of high school.....Academic All-American...very involved with Campus Ministry in high school, participating in and leading numerous retreats...Honor Roll all four years of high school...President of National Honor Society. Personal
Ellie is the oldest of Sarah and Gerald's four children. She attended Jesuit High School, in Beaverton, OR, where her two younger brothers are currently a freshman and a junior. Her younger sister is a freshman attending and swimming for Duke University. Ellie is an English major in the School of Arts and Sciences.
