Distance swimmer...competed in the 500 and 1000 freestyle...was recognized as a scholar-athlete at the end of the season...first season was cut short after an unfortunate accident in which she broke her kneecap and was unable to finish the season. BEFORE BC:
Won all-county First and Second Team all four years for her high school team...she was Outstanding Freshman of the Year in 2001 and Most Valuable Swimmer in 2003...also was a qualifier to the North Coast Section meet all four years of high school...holds a school record in the 500-yard freestyle...played water polo for a team that won four consecutive county championships during her four years...she was named Second Team all-county and Most Inspirational Player for her high school team...earned student-athlete scholar, a member of the Dean's List for four years, and graduated Valedictorian of her class.
