AS A JUNIOR (2017-18)
Dressed for all 38 games, a career high … played a regular shift on defense and saw significant penalty-kill time … registered a +19 plus/minus rating, third-best among Eagle blue liners … part of the Eagles' defense that was tied for ninth best in Division I, allowing 2.00 goals per game … blocked a career-high nine shots … recorded the first three points of her career, all assists … collected her first career point against No. 4 Minnesota Duluth, a primary assist on Kenzie Kent’s game-opening goal … also added assists against Connecticut (Nov. 17) and at Harvard (Nov. 22) … was a career-best +4 against Merrimack (Dec. 8).
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
Dressed for 23 games, all on defense … saw significant ice time along the blue line in the final three regular-season games and through the NCAA Quarterfinals against No. 6 St. Lawrence … finished +2 on the season and blocked six shots.. earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement, as well as places on the Hockey East All-Academic Team and the ACC Honor Roll.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)
Appeared in two games after walking on to the team … skated in both of the Eagles’ games against Boston University in November: Nov. 7 at BU and No. 10 at home … finished +1 on the season ... earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement, as well as places on the Hockey East All-Academic Team and the ACC Honor Roll.
BEFORE BC
Played for head coach Bruce Driver at Morrisontown Beard School for four years … started as a left wing and center as a freshman and sophomore before moving to defense her junior and senior year … helped her school win three-straight WIHLMA (Women’s Interscholastic Hockey League of the Middle Atlantic) titles in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and advance to the championship in 2015 … captained the team as a senior, and was a first-team all-state performer in her final year while winning the team’s Crimson Award as the squad’s top scholar-athlete … also played club hockey with the NJ Rockets Juniors team most recently … played defense and center for Mark Hurle in 2014-15 … spent two seasons with the NJ Colonials U16 and U19 teams in 2012-13 and 2013-14 … participated in USA Hockey’s National Development Camps in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 …

Kathleen is the daughter of Valerie and Patrick McNamara… has two older brothers: Patrick (BC ’15) and Ryan … enrolled in the Morrissey College of Arts & Sciences as a biology major with a pre-med track … is interested in pursuing a career in neuroscience … her father Patrick played football at Towson University and her cousin, Connor Wujciak, was an All-ACC member on the BC football team … graduated from Morristown Beard School with cum laude honors and was a member of the math honor society … volunteered at various blood drives in the New Jersey community.
