Women's Hockey Fall to Northeastern, 3-1

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College women's hockey fell 3-1 to Northeastern on Friday night at Kelley Rink, as the Huskies scored twice early in the second period and added a late goal in the third to close out the win.
After a scoreless first, Northeastern opened the scoring 31 seconds into the second period and extended the lead at 5:36  to make it 2-0. Boston College answered shortly after. At 6:40, freshman Maxim Tremblay finished a setup from Emma Conner to cut the deficit to 2-1, marking her seventh goal of the season.
The Huskies added insurance in the third, scoring at 11:37Â Â to extend the lead back to two. Northeastern's defense limited BC to three shots on goal the rest of the way.
Senior goaltender Grace Campbell finished with 37 saves, including 17 in the third period, as Northeastern held a 40-18 shots-on-goal margin. BC blocked 13 shots, led by Cailin Flynn with three.
