AS A SENIOR (2017-18)
Did not see any game action as classmate Katie Burt played every minute of all 38 games … missed three games midseason with injury, otherwise backed up Burt the entire season.
AS A JUNIOR (2016-17)
Made four appearances, including two starts … finished the year 2-0-0 with an 0.41 GAA and a .978 save percentage … made her season debut at Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 1), playing the final 20:00 and making four saves without allowing a goal … her first start of the year came against Connecticut (Oct. 29) when she stopped a season-high 18 shots and allowed one goal … picked up the win with 17 saves in 46:06 of shutout work in her start against New Hampshire (Nov. 12) … played the final period against Vermont (Feb. 12), making five saves in relief of Katie Burt … earned Hockey East All-Academic and ACC Honor Roll honors, as well as the Athletic Director’s Award for Academic Achievement.

Played in three games … recorded 115:20 minutes of playing time … went 2-0-0 on the season with a 2.08 goals against average … made 31 saves and posted a save percentage of .886 … made her collegiate debut on October 31 against Providence when she came on late in the second period and played 23:17, making four saves … drew her first career start on Jan. 7, earning the win in a 4-3 victory over Boston University and making 20 saves … played the final 32:02 against Maine (Feb. 14), making seven saves and allowing one goal … earned the Athletic Director’s Award for Academic Achievement … a member of the Hockey East All-Academic Team ... earned a place on the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Four-year starting varsity goaltender at Culver Academy (2010-13) ... four-time attendee of USA Hockey’s National Development Camp (2010-13) ... helped Team Pittsburgh’s U19 squad win the district championship and place in the top 8 at USA Hockey’s Girls Tier 1 U19 national championship in 2013 … member of Team Pittsburgh U16 squad that finished third at the 2012 Tier 1 national championships ... Team Pittsburgh U16 Silver Stick Champions (2012) ... also placed varsity soccer and lacrosse.

Daughter of Bill and Sabrina Switaj ... has an older brother, Derek ’15, who produced, wrote and directed the popular BC-based “Mod of Cards” mini-series, believed to be the first full-length collegiate drama mini-series ... enrolled in the Carroll School of Management as a marketing and operations management double major … her father, Bill, is a 1983 graduate of Boston College and was member of the men’s hockey team, winning the John A. “Snooks” Kelley Memorial Award (player who best typifies Boston College hockey) in 1983 … earned an operations internship with the U.S. Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, Colo., during the summer of 2016.
