Andrew Schatz begins his second season as Assistant Director, Football Operations for the Boston College Football program, his seventh overall season on The Heights. In this role, Schatz is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Football program, including the management of all football facilities, logistics, and travel.
Prior to his current position, Schatz served as an Equipment Manager for the program for five seasons. Here, he maintained the equipment for over 100 student-athletes and 40 members of the coaching staff while keeping tabs on all equipment inventory.
Before his arrival in Chestnut Hill, Schatz worked for the Football program at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. As a student, Schatz was in the Commonwealth Honors Program, working as an Operations Intern and Community Service Coordinator for the program. After graduation, he worked as an Assistant Director of Player Personnel/On-Field Assistant to the Head Coach.
Originally from Salem, Mass., Schatz graduated from UMass-Amherst in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and Economics. He also obtained his MBA from Boston College in 2022.
