
Logan Taylor Accepts East-West Shrine Bowl Invitation

Taylor is one of five Eagles in the last two seasons to play in the contest
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Redshirt senior offensive lineman Logan Taylor has accepted an invitation to play in the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl, the organization confirmed Friday.Â
Ahead of the 2025 season, Taylor was named a team captain for the first time in his career. He started all 12 games for the Eagles, making eight starts at right guard, three at left tackle, and one at right tackle en route to All-ACC Second Team and Associated Press All-ACC Second Team honors. In addition, Taylor was the team's highest-rated run blocker per Pro Football Focus (PFF), earning a grade of 73.8.Â
Last season, Taylor made 11 total starts for Boston College, including 10 at left guard and one at left tackle in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl vs. Nebraska. Taylor was a part of an offensive line unit that paved the way for four games of 200-plus rushing yards and two of 300-plus, including a 313-yard performance vs. Syracuse on November 9, 2024.
Taylor earned All-ACC recognition in each of his three seasons on The Heights. Prior to his time in Chestnut Hill, Taylor played two seasons at Virginia, where he allowed four total sacks in 437 dropback snaps in 2022.  Â
Six Boston College student-athletes in the last two seasons have garnered recognition from the nation's longest-running college all-star football game. Earlier this week, Quintayvious Hutchins accepted an invitation to play. Offensive lineman Jude Bowry received a preseason invitation to the game as well. Last season, Offensive lineman Jack Conley, defensive lineman Cam Horsley and offensive lineman Drew Kendall participated in last year's contest. In recent history, the Eagles have sent at least one student-athlete representative to the East-West Shrine Bowl since 2018.Â
The East-West Shrine Bowl is a best-in-class all-star event that will take place at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco,TX on January 27, 2026. Players will be coached by NFL coaches in an NFL facility, and will have access to NFL-level resources, player-friendly schedules, and opportunities at the highest level.Â
