BC Prepares to Host Siena on Sunday

Eagles look to pick up their second win of the year
Chestnut Hill, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer is set to take on Siena on Sunday evening in non-conference action at the Newton Soccer Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m., and the game will stream live on ACC Network Extra.
SEASON-OPENING WIN
• Boston College opened the 2026 season on Thursday with a 4-0 win over Merrimack
• The Eagles scored three times in the first half, including twice in three minutes
• Dylan Mafong recorded his first career multi-point game with a goal and an assist in the first half. Ismail Dia opened the scoring in the 18th minute with his first collegiate goal
• Andrej Borak stopped all three shots he faced for his first shutout of the year and fifth of his career
THE RETURNERS
• Boston College returns eight players who appeared in 14 or more games during the 2025 campaign, including two who played in all 17 matches. Jack Burkhardt returns as the only player to start every game last season
• Michael Asare and Russel Brown are the top scorers to return, with Brown also leading the way with five assists last year
• BC returns a defensive unit headlined by ACC All-Rookie selection Andrej Borak. The Eagles also return three of the four starters from the backline along with Christian Bejar, who started 17 games in 2024

• The Eagles have 11 additions to this season's roster
• BC brought in nine freshmen and two transfers

• Borak was the lone goalie named to the ACC Players to Watch list

• Siena enters Sunday's match with a 1-0-0 record
• The Saints defeated NJIT on Thursday night by a score of 3-1
• Lucas Almeida, Emmy Horja, and Campbell Stalker all scored for Siena
• Bennet Glinder played all 90 minutes in net, making 12 saves
