Three athletes look to qualify for NCAA Championships in Oregon

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass – Colin Peattie, Mateo Bianchi and Theodor Schucht are set to compete in the 2026 NCAA East First Round, hosted at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track & Field Complex. Action is set to take place from May 27-30, as all will look to qualify for the NCAA Championships in mid-June.

Three athletes will represent Boston College at the NCAA East First Round Championships across Wednesday and Friday evening. Peattie will open the regional on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. EST. He will look to qualify to for Friday's quarterfinals, taking place at 5:15 p.m. EST. Following him will be Bianchi in the 3000m steeplechase quarterfinal, running at 5:40 p.m. EST Friday, and Schucht in the 5000m semifinal at 8:10 p.m. EST.

All three athletes have exceled for Boston College this outdoor season, accounting for two school records and six top 10 program marks. All will look to make their first NCAA Championships and the first for Boston College since 2024.
