Women's Track & Field Ready for Three Meet Weekend

Eagles compete at Brian Clay, Tom Jones and Sean Collier Invitationals
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Women's Track and Field is slated for its busiest weekend of the outdoor season, competing in three meets this weekend. The team starts with the Brian Clay Invitational on April 16, followed by the Tom Jones Memorial and MIT Sean Collier Invitational on April 17. All action will take place through April 18, with Tom Jones broadcast on SEC Network Plus and Sean Collier and Brian Clay on FloTrack.

Boston College sent Iris Bergman, Claire Crowley, and Molly FitzPatrick to Durham to take on the Duke Invitational last weekend. The trio made their season debuts in a medley of distance events, including Crowley setting a new personal best time of 4:26.59 in the 1500m. Bergman and FitzPatrick recorded top 15 performances in their races, respectively.

The Eagles will compete in the Brian Clay Invitational and Tom Jones Memorial for the first time in program history and make their fourth straight appearance at the Sean Collier Invitational. At last year's attempt, Ava Carter set a then-personal best and top 10 program mark in the 200m.
