The Eagles outlasted No. 2 Stanford in an exciting 13-11 victory, handing the Cardinal their first loss of the season. Shea Dolce made 10 saves on the night, including seven in the second half. Her stop with two minutes remaining preserved a 12-11 BC lead before Hanna Davis sealed the game with her second goal, helping BC hand Stanford its first loss of the season. The teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 9-9 before Giulia Colarusso gave BC the lead early in the frame. Just over a minute later, she connected with Kylee Colbert to extend the advantage to 11-9. The teams traded goals down the stretch, with BC maintaining its edge behind key late plays from Davis and Dolce. Colarusso and Colbert led the way with four points, while Shea Baker collected three caused turnovers. Molly Driscoll registered a hat trick and Marissa White totaled three points with two goals and an assist.Â

Bakes Making Plays
Shea Baker stepped up with three caused turnovers, three draw controls and a ground ball against Stanford. The senior defender has a team-high 17 caused turnovers, posting multiple CTs in five contests while she is second with 16 ground balls. The New York native is 20 caused turnovers away from 100 for her career.Â

- Lydia Colasante and Dolce were named to the All-World Team, and Baker was team captain.Â

Caroline Chisholm is in her second season with the Eagles, as she was on the field hockey team in the fall. She started in 11 of 16 games with two goals and an assist with field hockey. So far this season lacrosse, she is tied for third on the team in ground balls (10), has five caused turnovers and five points, scoring a goal in the last four games.Â

- The Great Danes are coming off a narrow 12-11 win over Binghamton on Saturday.
