BC Falls to No. 23 South Carolina in Game Two

Columbia, S.C. - The Boston College softball team (9-17) lost 9-1 to No.23 South Carolina (18-10) in the second game of the series on Saturday afternoon.
The Gamecocks started with a 3-0 lead until the third inning. Tavye Borders stretched her hit through the right side into a double. Kae DePerio advanced her to third on a sacrifice, and Sammy Horn brought Borders home to score BC's lone run of the game.
South Carolina would add six more runs to end the game in the fifth, 9-1.
