No. 10 Eagles Drop League Game to BU

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 10/11 Boston College men's hockey team dropped a 5-1 decision to Boston University on Saturday evening at Kelley Rink in the Battle of Comm Ave. Oskar Jellvik lit the lamp for the Eagles with James Hagens picking up an assist on the goal. Louka Cloutier made 15 saves.
Boston College moves to 19-12-1 overall and 13-9-0 in Hockey East, while Boston University improves to 16-15-2 overall and 12-11-0 in league play.
BU took an early lead after scoring a short-handed goal in the first period.
The Eagles scored the equalizer late in the period when Jellvik put home his first goal of the season. J. Hagens picked up the puck alongside the boards and skated towards the slot before splitting the BU defense with a pass to Jellvik at the back door for the one-timer into the net.
The Terriers tacked on four-straight goals, including three in the third period, to jump out ahead and claim the win.
