BC Gears for Second Straight Weekend at BU

Segalla looks for her fourth school record of the indoor season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Women's Track and Field gears up for its second straight meet at the BU Track & Tennis Center, racing in the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Friday, January 30.
Sydney Segalla showcased her speed once again for the Eagles, breaking her third school record of the indoor season after logging a 23.55 to win the 200m event. Five other athletes set top-ten marks at the Scarlet & White Invitational, including marks from Hanna Hollins (2:45.76) in the 1000m, Kyla Palmer (55.54) in the 400m, and Segalla (7.70) in the 60m.
At last year's John Thomas Terrier Classic, BC set five top ten marks, including the second fastest 60m from Anna Sonsini (7.76).
Following this weekend, the team takes on the River Hawk Invitational at the TRACK at New Balance on February 6 and 7.
