Eagles Break Two School Records at John Thomas Terrier Classic

BOSTON, Mass – Boston College Women's Track & Field had a stellar afternoon at day one of the John Thomas Terrier Classic, breaking multiple school records and personal bests at the BU Track & Tennis Center.

- Erin Finley started the day in the long jump, reaching 5.21m for eighth place. This is her best jump as an Eagle since 2023, when she leapt 5.42m, a personal best.
- Sydney Segalla followed with her fourth school record this indoor season, championing the 400m with a time of 51.90. Her time broke her previous best by .90 seconds, and places her second in the ACC and fourth in the NCAA.
- Yaroslava Yalysovetska was the highest placing BC runner in the 800m, clocking a 2:10.35 to win her heat and place third overall.
- Ava Carter set a personal best in the 200m, dashing across the line at 24.76 for third place overall. That mark places her fifth in the all-time record book.
- Natalie Millerova led the way for BC in the mile, taking fourth after running a 4:38.73. Imogen Gardiner (4:39.73) was next to finish, crossing the line a second later for fifth place and putting her ninth all-time in program history. Hanna Hollins (4:41.46) also raced, crushing her previous best by 13 seconds to round out the top 10.
- The strong meet continued, as Anna Becker, Anna Sonsini, Kyla Palmer, and Segalla cruised to first place in the 4x400, running a school-record time of 3:35.55. That mark not only broke the previous record by four seconds, but also ranks fastest in the ACC and 11th in the NCAA.
- Iris Bergman competed in the 800m Invitational, where she finished fourth in her heat and 18th overall with a time of 2:05.99, four tenths of her personal best. Her mark places her fifth all-time in program history.
- In the Mile Invitational, Kyra Holland used the last two laps to propel herself to seventh in her heat and 18th overall, crossing the line for a personal best of 4:36.46. That time ranks fifth in the BC record book.
- Molly FitzPatrick closed the meet by crushing her personal best in the 3000m, recording a 9:21.16 to finish in the top-25.
