DMR breaks school record; places themselves top five in conference and country

BOSTON, Mass – Boston College Women's Track & Field exceled at the Harvard Crimson Open and Husky Classic, running several top-ten marks.

Husky Classic (Day One)

Anna Sonsini championed the 200m dash with a time of 24.20, four tenths faster than any other competitor. Following were Anna Becker (24.93) and Ava Carter (25.02) in eighth and ninth to close out the top 10.
Molly FitzPatrick and Ella Fadil both finished in the top 10 of the 3000m. FitzPatrick led the way in seventh with a time of 9:14.32, a personal best and the seventh fastest in program history. Fadil crossed the line close behind at 9:15.62, also a personal best and the 10^th fastest all-time in program history.
Hanna Hollins, Iris Bergman, Sydney Segalla, and Imogen Gardiner concluded the night with the DMR, finishing second at 10:47.53 to record a school record. Their time ranks first in the ACC and fifth in the NCAA.

Erin Finley reached 4.97m in her final attempt of the long jump, good for ninth place.

Next Up: The Eagles compete in the second and final day of the Husky Classic, beginning at 1 p.m. EST, as well as the second day of the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at 10:30 a.m EST.
