Eagles prepare for Beantown Challenge at Harvard
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Boston College Women's Track & Field returns from winter break to compete in the Beantown Challenge at Harvard on Saturday, January 17. The event will be available on ESPN+.

The Eagles will race in their first meet for the first time this calendar year and in over a month. It is also the first time the team will compete in the Beantown Challenge since 2022.

Boston College made a statement last time out at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. Sydney Segalla opened the event breaking the BU Track & Tennis Center facility record in the 300m with a 37.40, also shattering a BC program record. Anna Sonsini, Gina Certo and Anna Becker all logged top ten marks in the 300m as well, while Imogen Gardiner, Ella Fadil, Kyra Holland and Molly FitzPatrick set top ten program marks in the 5000m. Kyla Palmer was the last Eagle to set an all time mark, running a 1:33.13 in the 600m to put her second in the record book.

Following this weekend, the team is set to compete in the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Saturday, January 24.
