Boston College Returns For First Meet of 2026

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Boston College Men's Track & Field returns from winter break to compete in the Beantown Challenge at Harvard on Saturday, January 17. The event will be available on ESPN+.

The Eagles will race in their first meet for the first time this calendar year and in over a month. It is also the first time the team will compete in the Beantown Challenge since 2022.

Last time out, Boston College collected several top ten marks and personal bests at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener and Early Bird Invite. Max Deane ran a personal best time of 6.96 in the 60m, putting him third on the All-Time Performance List. Owen Pett also recorded a top ten mark, running a 1:50.33 in the 800m to finish fifth overall and place him fourth in the record book.

Following this weekend, the team is set to compete in the Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitational at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Saturday, January 24.
