BC hits the road for the first time this season

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer faces its first road test of the 2025 season on Friday with a non-conference matchup against Providence. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will stream live on ESPN+.

FIRST DEFEAT OF THE CAMPAIGN
• Boston College suffered its first defeat of the season on Monday, falling to Siena by a score of 3-1
• Russell Brown scored his first goal for the Eagles
• Jack Burkhardt registered his first point of the year with an assist on the goal
• Andrej Borak made four saves

PRESEASON ACCOLADES
• Ziad Abdul-Malak earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Midfielders to Watch list after earning Second Team All-Region Honors in 2024 with Le Moyne
• Ask Ekeland was named to the ACC Players to Watch list

• Providence enters Friday's game with a 0-2-0 record
• The Friars suffered 1-0 defeats to Rutgers and New Haven over opening weekend

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST THE FRIARS
• The Eagles boast a 17-7-8 record all-time against the Friars
