Final Weekend Awaits Track & Field

DURHAM, N.C. – The Boston College Track & Field team is set to compete its last weekend of the regular season with three meets over the span of May 2-4. The Eagles will be at the Larry Ellis Invitational on May 2-3, the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational on May 3, and will wrap up the weekend with the Duke Twilight on May 4.

The Eagles will be sending 14 athletes to compete at the Larry Ellis Invitational, which will be held at Weaver Stadium on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3 on the campus of Princeton University.

During the first day of the meet, Boston College will run in the Men's 3,000m Steeplechase, Men's 5,000m, and Men's 10,000m. The first event will begin at 8:40 p.m. on Friday night, and day one will wrap up at 9:40 p.m. with the Men's 10,000m run.

Day 2 of the Larry Ellis Invitational will consist of nine Eagles competing across five running events. Competition for BC will begin at 10:25 a.m. with the Men's 1500m competition, and the final day will wrap up with the Men's 200m at around 2 p.m.

The Eagles will be competing in nine events at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational, which will be held at Solomon Outdoor Track on Saturday, May 3 in Dedham, Mass.

The first event for the Eagles is set to begin around 11 a.m. as Emily Rohan will be competing in Women's Javelin. The first running event is set for 11:18 a.m. as two eagles will be taking part in the Women's 1500m. The Women's 5,000m race will wrap up the day for BC at 12:30 p.m. as three Eagles are scheduled to run.

Boston College will wrap up the weekend with the Duke Twilight, which will take place on Sunday, May 4 at Morris Williams Stadium on the campus of Duke University.

The Eagles will have nine athletes competing across three events on Sunday. The first event is scheduled to start at 5:10 p.m. as BC will have seven participants in the Women's 15000m. The Eagles will wrap up the day with the Women's 800m at 6:45 p.m and then the Women's 5,000m run at 9:15 p.m.
