Game Two of Central Virginia Challenge Goes to Richmond

Eagles will look to win the weekend on Sunday afternoon at VCU
The Eagles opened the scoring, with Josiah Ragsdale starting the game with a leadoff double to the right-center gap. Two batters later, and Patrick Roche picked him up with an RBI single to put BC up 1-0 after the first frame.
Richmond responded with one of their own in the bottom of the first, and extended their lead to 6-1 via a three-run shot in the bottom of the third. The Spiders added another in the fourth, with a two-out double leading to an RBI single. The Spiders tacked on one in the fifth, and two in the sixth to push their lead to 10-1 after six.
Adam Magpoc got one back in the seventh, driving his first home run of the season 392 feet over the left field fence, making it a 10-2 game.
Richmond reclaimed the run with a solo shot of their own in the bottom of the frame, making it 11-2. Sam McNulty left the yard for his first home run of the season in the ninth, a two-run shot to make it 11-4, where the score would hold.
A.J. Colarusso took the loss for the Eagles (0-1) with Ryan Bilka claiming the win for Richmond (2-0).
The Eagles will get back to work on Sunday afternoon at VCU.
