Eagles Fly to Milwaukee for Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off

BC opens the tournament against Western Michigan; will face Wisconsin or Lake Superior State on Monday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 12 Boston College men's hockey team travels to Milwaukee to play in the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off at Fiserv Forum, home of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks. The Eagles take on No. 7/8 Western Michigan on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. CT on B1G+ along with a radio broadcast on WEEI 850 AM. Depending on Sunday's results, BC will face either No. 2 Wisconsin or Lake Superior State on Monday at 4:00 p.m. CT or 7:30 p.m. CT.

SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles improved to 10-5-1 overall and 7-3-0 in Hockey East after sweeping UMass Lowell back on the first weekend of December
• The Broncos are 10-6-0 overall and 6-4-0 in the NCHC after splitting with No. 4 Minnesota Duluth on Dec. 5-6
• Wisconsin is currently 12-2-2 overall and 8-2-0 in the B1G and is coming off a weekend sweep over Notre Dame
• Lake Superior State is 6-11-1 overall and 3-9-0 in the CCHA and is coming off a split weekend against St. Thomas in league play
• BC moved up to No. 12 in both the USCHO.com and USA Hockey national polls
• Western Michigan sits seventh in the USCHO.com poll and eighth in the USA Hockey poll

CONFERENCE WEEKEND SWEEP
• The Eagles picked up back-to-back 3-1 wins over UMass Lowell to close out the first half of the season
• Dean Letourneau scored twice on the power play in Friday's win before adding another goal on Saturday
• Jake Sondreal had a four-point weekend, finishing with three assists on Friday and a goal on Saturday
• James Hagens picked up the game-winning goal in Friday's victory
• Lukas Gustafsson tallied a power play goal in Saturday's win
• Louka Cloutier made 50 saves over the two games

• Hampton Slukynsky has started all 16 games between the pipes, making 353 saves and has a .887 save percentage and a 2.83 goals against average
