About the Eagles
Last Time Out
BC cracked the win column after a 69-57 victory on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles used a 30-point fourth quarter and a 14-2 run to pull away from the Wildcats. Lily Carmody (21 points) and Teionni McDaniel (20 points) combined for 41 of the points, while Amirah Anderson scored seven of her 10 points in the fourth quarter. A Win Would
- Give BC a 2-1 mark.
- Earn a sixth win in the series against UMass Lowell.
- Give coach Mac her 110th win at Boston College.
Swords Making the Call
Boston College Hall of Famer Carolyn Swords will be on the call for tomorrow's game, as she'll serve as the analyst with Eric Gallanty on play-by-play. Swords filled the record book in her time at Boston College as her name is atop many of the greatest single-season and career accomplishments. Swordsfinished her career as the second all-time leading scorer with 2,029 points. She went down as BC's all-time leader in rebounds (1,159), blocks (178), is the only member of the 2000-point, 1000-rebound club, and started in all of her school-record 133 games. She joined BC great Sarah Behn (1989-93) as the only women's basketball players in school history to have their jerseys hang in the rafters.
Efficiency at its finest
Carmody through two games is averaging 17.0 points on just 6.5 field goal attempts and shooting 53.8 percent from the field. The sophomore guard is averaging 10 free throw attempts, 3.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals. Her 29.2 player efficiency rating (PER) is sixth in the ACC among players averaging at least 30 minutes per game. The guard from Australia is also third in the country in free throw makes and attempts.
Freshmen Impact
Amirah Anderson and Jocelyne Grier have made an immediate impact. Grier is third on the team in scoring at 9.0 points per game, first in steals and tied for first in 3-pointers made. Anderson leads the Eagles in rebounding (6.5), shooting 50 percent from the field and has hit all four free throws. Both guards have scored in double figures in one game heading into Sunday.

6 - Carmody is one of six players in the league thus far with a PER of at least 25 while averaging 30 minutes per game.

80 - The Eagles are 53-4 when scoring 80 or more points under coach Mac.
