Eagles Set to Host Central Connecticut State

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College looks to build off a strong home opener, returning to the Edgerley Family Court at Conte Forum to host Central Connecticut State University on Tuesday evening. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. (ET).

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. CCSU - ALL-TIME SERIES
- Tonight marks the eighth all-time meeting between BC and CCSU. Boston College holds a 7-0 series lead.
- The last time the Eagles and Blue Devils battled was in 2023, where BC earned an 82-68 victory. Donald Hand Jr. and Fred Payne combined for 20 points, six rebounds, and three steals.
- The Eagles have surpassed the 80-point mark in five of their seven matchups against CCSU, outscoring the Blue Devils by an average of 17.8 points.
BOSTON COLLEGE vs. THE NORTHEAST Conference
- The Eagles are 27-1 all-time vs. current NEC teams.
- Boston College played two NEC representatives last season, Stonehill and FDU, winning both contests. Hand Jr. averaged 20.5 and 7.5 rebounds across both games, included a double-double against Stonehill (29p/10r).
- BC will play four games against teams from the NEC (CCSU, New Haven, FDU and Le Moyne). They will make series debuts against Le Moyne and New Haven in late December.
LAST TIME OUT
- Boston College showed out in their home opener on The Edgerley Family Court, defeating The Citadel, 76-47, on Nov. 6.
- The Eagles recorded a game-low four turnovers, tied for the second-fewest in a game for the Eagles at Conte Forum .
- BC held a non-conference opponent to under 50 points in a home contest for the first time since 2022, when they defeated Rhode Island, 53-49.
- Earl Grant extended his home-opening win streak to 5-0, remaining undefeated in his tenure at Boston College head coach.
EDGERLEY FAMILY COURT
- The basketball court at Silvio O. Conte Forum will officially be named the Edgerley Family Court starting this season.
- The Edgerley's are active members of the Parents Leadership Council and are supporters of undergraduate financial aid at Boston College, having co-chaired Pops on the Heights in 2023 and 2024.
- Sandra Edgerley serves on the Boston College Board of Trustees, where she is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. Paul Edgerley is a senior advisor at Bain Capital, where he was a managing director and played a leadership role for more than 30 years.
- The court is a lasting symbol of the Edgerleys' commitment to enhancing the tradition of excellence at Boston College.

- Boston College is 3-1 all-time when playing on November 11. The Eagles most recently played in 2022, defeating Detroit Mercy, 70-66, at Conte Forum. Donald Hand Jr. made his collegaute debut, grabbing one rebound.

CAREER ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Boden Kapke logged a career-high 17 points, and Fred Payne dished a career-high seven assists against FAU.
- Marko Radunovic and Caleb Steger made their collegiate debuts against FAU. Radunovic recorded eight points, going 2-3 from behind the arc, and Steger played five minutes with two field goal attempts. Caleb Steger registered his first career points with a 3-pointer against The Citadel. He finished the night with eight points, going 2-for-3 from deep.
- Jason Asemota flourished in the home-opener, grabbing a career-high nine points and adding four rebounds to lead all bench scorers.
INSTANT IMPACT
- The freshmen tandem of Radunovic and Steger have translated well through the first two games, combining for 11.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists.
- Kapke, Chase Forte, Jason Asemota, and Aidan Shaw are making their prescence know on Chestnut Hill. The quadruple are averaging 33.5 points, 23.0 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game.
- Individually, Forte leads in assists (5.0) and steals (2.0), while Kapke and Shaw are tied for first in rebounds (8.0).
OUT OF CONFERENCE OPPONENTS IN 2025-26
- Boston College will face 13 non-conference opponents from a possible nine different conferences in 2025-26.
