BC Begins Road Trip With No. 22/19 NC State

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball begins a three-game road trip on Sunday at 2 p.m. against No. 22/19 NC State in Raleigh.Â

The Eagles couldn't overcome their struggles in the second quarter, setting the tone for the rest of the contest in an 86-59 setback to Duke. Dontavia Waggoner paced the offense with a season-high 20 points, carding a season best in points for the second straight game. She also totaled five rebounds and a pair of steals, while the Eagles recorded 22 offensive rebounds.Â

The Eagles begin 2025 with a tough stretch in ACC action, as the first five of their opponents in the new year were picked in the top eight in the preseason poll and four in the top six. - Aziaha James is averaging 16.5 points while shooting 44 percent from the field and 5.5 rebounds per game.
- Saniya Rivers and Hayes leads the team in rebounding at 6.2 per clip.
- The Wolfpack commit the fewest fouls in the nation, committing just 11.9 per game.
