BC Begins Road Trip With No. 22/19 NC State

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball begins a three-game road trip on Sunday at 2 p.m. against No. 22/19 NC State in Raleigh.

The Eagles couldn't overcome their struggles in the second quarter, setting the tone for the rest of the contest in an 86-59 setback to Duke. Dontavia Waggoner paced the offense with a season-high 20 points, carding a season best in points for the second straight game. She also totaled five rebounds and a pair of steals, while the Eagles recorded 22 offensive rebounds.

The Eagles are 9-22 against NC State after falling to the Wolfpack in Chestnut Hill last season. BC topped NC State in the last matchup in Raleigh, earning its first top-10 road win since 2010. Waggoner scored 23 points with 10 off the glass in the win.
