CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball welcomes No. 25 Florida State on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Conte Forum on ACC Network.
About the Eagles

T'yana Todd and Savannah Samuel netted 10 points apiece, combining for four of the Eagles' eight 3-pointers. Samuel tied the team lead with five off the glass. Boston College shot 50 percent from deep, but under 30 percent from inside the arc. WF scored 25 points off BC miscues.
A Win Would
- Give BC a 13-10 mark and 4-6 record in the ACC.
- Give the Eagles their first ranked win since 2022-23 and first ranked win at home since 2021-22.
By the Numbers
1 - Waggoner is the only player in BC history with at least 1,100 points, 500 rebounds and 200 steals.
16 - The 16 assists for Kaylah Ivey at Miami set a new program mark.
29 - Andrea Daley is 29 points away from joining the 1,000-point club.
40 - Waggoner is 40 steals away from setting the school record for a career steals.
100 - BC is 9-1 this season when its offensive rating is 100 or higher.
What to Watch for

- See if the Eagles can protect the ball. BC is averaging 19.6 turnovers per game in its losses, 14.8 in wins, and is 2-6 when committing 20 or more turnovers.
- See if BC can convert inside the arc after shooting under 30 percent from two. The Eagles are 10-4 when shooting 45 percent or better from two.
- Dontavia Waggoner averages 16.5 points per game in four ACC contests at home on 47.9 percent shooting, including a pair of 20-point performances. Watch if she can continue her success on Thursday.
