Lacrosse Travels to Face Louisville in Road Matchup

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - No. 3 Boston College lacrosse returns to ACC play this weekend when it faces Louisville on Sunday at 12 p.m. in the UofL Lacrosse Stadium.Â
About the Eagles
Last Time Out
It was another offensive outburst in a 23-5 win against BU on Wednesday, while BC reached the 20-goal mark for the fourth time this season.Mckenna Davis registered a game-high six points (1 G, 5 A), becoming the fifth player in school history to reach 100-career assists.  Rachel Clark turned in four goals and a helper for five points of her own. Kayla Martello recorded a season-high five points (4 G, 1 A) and Emma LoPinto fired in four goals in the win. A total of 11 Eagles scored in the victory, with six finding the back of the net twice. BC didn't waste any time getting started, as Cassidy Weeks and Davis scored within the first minute of the contest to give their squad a commanding lead. The Eagles reeled off a 10-0 cushion going into the second quarter after seven different Eagles scored. BC has outscored its opponents 43-12 over the last two wins.Â
A Win Would
- Give BC an 8-1 win and a 3-0 mark in the ACC.

Davs is second in the ACC and the country in assists, while she is third in the league and sixth in the league in points. She has recorded at least three points in six of seven games and at least five in three outings. Davis became the fifth player in school history on Wednesday to reach the century mark in assists. Her 103 helpers is fifth all-time in school history.Martello is added to this season's watch list for a second straight year, where she is having another solid start to the season. Martello is second on the team with 26 goals along with two assists for 28 points. She is third in the ACC in goals and 10th in the country, while she has a hat trick in six of eight contests.  She has six more goals this season through eight games than in 2023 and has scored in 35 straight games. The tandem joins B. Smith, Weeks, Clark, Dolce and Sydney Scales.Â
Scouting Louisville (3-4, 1-1 ACC)
-Â Louisville has won its last two games against Pitt and most recently an 18-13 win over Cincinnati on Wednesday.
-Â Kokoro Nakazawa scored six goals with two assists for eight points, while Allegra Catalano registered four goals.
-Â Nakazawa leads the team in goals (24), assists (9) and points (33).
- Nicole Perroni is second with 19 goals and 24 points.
-Â Five Cardinals have at least 10 goals and three with 15.
