Eagles Wrap Up Indoor Season with NCAA Championships

Women's DMR finishes 9th overall, while Steven Jackson places 14th on Friday.
BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College Women's Distance Medley Relay team of Marie Bilo, Aoife Dunne, Molly Hudson, and Sydney Segalla placed ninth overall, while Steven Jackson competed in the Men's Mile at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the TRACK at new balance.Â
Steven Jackson started off the day on Friday for the Eagles competing in the Men's Mile. Jackson fought hard, ultimately finishing 14th overall with a time of 4:10.97. The Senior from Reading, Mass. finishes his indoor track season holding the Men's Mile school record with a time of 3:55.39, while also earning first team All-ACC honors after his fourth place finish in the Men's Mile at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Â
The Women's Distance Medley Relay wrapped up the day for Boston College, placing ninth overall with a time of 10:58.67. The relay group of Marie Bilo, Aoife Dunne, Molly Hudson, Sydney Segalla made its first appearance as a foursome, while Bilo made her first appearance of the season for the Eagles. The Women's Distance Medley Relay groups are coming off an indoor season where they have broken the school record twice, and currently hold the all-time spot with a time of 10:50.00. They also earned the bronze medal after finishing third overall at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Â
