
Eagles Complete Opening Weekend of Outdoor Season

BC Men's and Women Track and Field compete at three meets over March 28-30
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Men's and Women's Track and Field teams open its outdoor season with three meets over the span of March 28-30. The Eagles participated in the Bobcat Invitational, the Texas Relays, and the Tufts Snowflake Classic.
Texas Relays
Boston College traveled to Austin, Texas to compete at the Texas Relays on the campus of the University of Texas on Friday, Mar. 29.
The Eagles started the meet off with the Men's 4x400m relay on Friday afternoon. The group of Stephen Colleran, Eddie Kelly, Colin Kravitz, and Max McQuide finished 30th overall with a time of 3:15.42.
Boston College finished the day with the Men's Distance Medley Relay group. The relay foursome of Cruz Brown, Eddie Kelly, Steven Jackson, and Patrick Mulryan finished top-three, placing third overall with a time of 9:48.90.

Bobcat Invitational
The Eagles competed at the Bobcat Invitational on Thursday, Mar. 28 and Saturday Mar. 30 in San Marcos, Texas on the campus of Texas State University.
The Men's 800m opened the meet for BC on Thursday, with four Eagles finishing in the top-20. Cruz Brown (1:51.15) finished sixth overall, while Patrick Mulryan (1:51.36) placed seventh and Spencer Pett (1:52.78) finished 12th. Owen Pett (1:53.17) rounded out the top-20 performances for the eagles, placing 17th overall. Eddie Kelly placed 56th overall with a time of 2:00.02.
The Eagles closed out the two-day meet with the Men's 400m on Saturday. Max McQuide was the top finisher for Boston College, placing 17th overall with a time of 47.79. Colin Kravitz was the other Eagle to race in this event, finishing 20th with a time of 48.18.

Tufts Snowflake Classic
The Eagles wrapped up the opening weekend of outdoor season while competing in the Tufts Snowflake Classic on Mar. 30 in Somerville, Mass.
Freshman Anna Sonsini led the way for the Eagles, finishing with two first place finishes on the day. Sonsini finished first overall in Women's 100m prelims with a time of 11.97, while also placing first in the Women's 200m with a time of 24.58.
Anna Becker Earned two top-three finishes on the day in the Women's 100m prelims and Women's 200m. The freshman finished third overall in the 100m prelims (12.52) and second in the Women's 200m (25.18). Freshman Kyla Palmer finished third overall in the Women's 200m with a time of 25.29, while also placing fourth in the 100m prelims.
Gabrielle Bachiochi placed second overall in the Women's 800m with a time of 2:16.52. Sam Ellis and Sofia Tavella both raced in the Men's and Women's 10k, with each finishing top-two overall. Tavella earned first place with a time of 37:49.03, while Ellis got second overall with his time of 31:34.86.
Freshman Morgan Champi led the way for the Eagles in field events, earning first overall in the Women's Hammer Throw with a score of 43.12m.
Sophie Albright finished second overall in Women's High Jump with a score of 1.62m. Lila Belsher finished sixth overall with a score of
