CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's golf team opens up play in 2024 at the Battle of Briar's Creek, held at the famed Golf Club at Briar's Creek in Johns Island, S.C.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament tees off on Monday. Feb. 5 with 36 holes of continuous play through rounds one and two. Boston College will tee off in the shotgun format at 8:30 a.m. ET on holes 14-18. The Eagles are paired with Campbell and the individual players.
It marks the second consecutive season that BC has opened its spring at the Golf Club at Briar's Creek. Set on more than 800 acres on scenic Johns Island, there is no shortage of water, marshes, wetlands and wildlife, along with the occasional bunker, rough, and gently rolling, but quick putting surface. Precisely designed and skillfully maintained, the Rees Jones masterpiece embraces the rich, low country landscape and vegetation of Johns Island and the Kiawah River. Multiple tee boxes offer dramatic shots around, across and along unspoiled marsh and riverside vistas.
