Markus Lam led BC, tying for 15th place (-1)
JOHNS ISLAND, S.C.. -- Boston College finished tied for 11th place at the Battle at Briar's Creek, held at the Golf Club at Briar's Creek. Â It was the 2024 spring season debut for the Eagles.
The tournament was shortened to 36 holes after Monday's opening day of play was suspended due to weather.
The Eagles registered team scores of 297 and 305 during Tuesday's two rounds, finishing with a total score of 602.
BC was led by Markus Lam, who tied for 15th place with a 1-over par total of 145. Â Lam carded an opening round 71 and finished with a 74. Â Jack Pogorelc tied for 27th place, with a pair of 74's.
Mac Bredahl tied for 63rd (78-78=156), Cameron Harlock one stroke behind in 67th (74-83=157), and Ben Hong was 72nd (81-79=160).
Clemson captured the team title (575). Â BC was +6 on par 3 holes (3.15 avg), +35 on par 4's (4.35 avg), and +5 on par 5 holes (5.13 avg). Â The Eagles recorded 99 pars and 24 birdies.
BC will return to action from Feb. 11-13 at the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate, held in Palmas Del Mar, P.R.
