HUMACAO, P.R. -- Boston College finished in 11th place at the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate, held Feb. 11-13. Â The Eagles were 8-under par over the final two days of play, finishing with a team total of 862 (294-284-284). Six strokes separated sixth and 11th place on a tightly bunched team leaderboard.
Markus Lam was BC's top finisher, finishing at 2-under (214) - good for a tie for 21st. Â His best round of the tournament came during Tuesday's final round, firing a 3-under 69. Â He played the par 4 holes at 1-over (4.03 avg) and was 6-under on par 5's (4.50 avg). Â
Mac Bredahl and Jack Pogorelc tied for 39th place, with a 1-over total of 217. Â Bredahl's best score of the tournament was a 3-under 69 in the second round. Â He carded a pair of 74's during the first and final rounds. Â Pogorelc improved his scores in each of the three rounds, opening with a 74 before posting a second round 73 and a final round 70.
Cameron Harlock was 1-under in the final round, en route to a tie for 48th place (73-75-71=219). Â Ben Hong tied for 63rd place (76-70-75=221), while Caden Burr - competing as an individual - was 97th (80-82-79=241).
BC returns to action on March 11-12 at the Seminole Intercollegiate in Tallahassee, Fla.
