Eagles Dominate Columbia in Sole Match-up of the Day

BOCA RATON, Fla.-- Boston College defeated Columbia University with a 2-0 victory at the Joan Joyce Field, Friday morning. The Eagles totaled 6 hits on 22 at-bats, for the teams sole match-up of the day.
The Eagles' scoring took place in the third inning. Darien McDonough got the momentum started for BC with a one-run homer to center field. With two outs on the board and bases loaded, a single by Jordan Stephens brought Hannah Slike through home plate.Â
Addison Jackson had her second appearance behind the mound throwing for six innings only letting up two hits and one walk on 67 pitches. Jackson is 2-0 in her career.
The Eagles return to action tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. to face-off Rhode Island at the Joan Joyce Field.Â
